About Us

We were originally established in 1983 in Killeen, Texas by the late Richard Stanley. Richard and his wife, Jenny “Ramirez” Stanley expanded the agency and moved to Austin. Together they had over 29 years of combined insurance, sales, and customer service experience. They were able to serve the Central Texas communities by offering various competitive products, notary services, and other types of services, while maintaining a family friendly atmosphere for the staff and insured individuals. We provide insurance to the entire state of Texas.

Today, Jenny and her son John De La Paz, operate the company, where its friendly and knowledgeable staff continue to maintain the same atmosphere with multiple offices conveniently located in Austin to better serve you. We are also a certified Progressive Insurance company, able to offer the many great plans and coverages by Progressive. We serve the ENTIRE state of Texas!

Stanley Insurance Agency is proud to have worked with the community and community leaders. We are currently members of the Alliance Insurance Agents of Texas, Professional Insurance Agents, Independent Insurance Agents Association, Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Professional Women, Notary Public Association, The Rotary Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. Jenny Stanley was elected and served as Vice-President of the Austin Independent Agents Association of Texas and worked with other agents and legislatures to help pass the Texas Sure law. Texas Sure law is designed to keep all Texas drivers insured, and crack down on the uninsured motorists, fraudulent insurance cards, and drivers who drop their coverage after receiving a valid insurance card. “If you’re not covered, you’ll be discovered.” The penalties can be severe.
